The Osprey Milano, a high-quality fountain pen was designed to elevate your writing experience, while balancing ergonomics and aesthetics. And fitted with our second-generation Ultra-Flex nib. The improved design boasts of a custom ebonite feed with a tail, and a threaded housing that allows for interchangeability between Osprey Fountain Pen models: the Milano, the Scholar and the Madison model of pens.

Typically, most suppliers in the market sell Ultra-flex nib units with a plastic feed. We are one of the handful of folks that offer not just an ebonite feed, but an ebonite feed with a tail!

An ebonite feed keeps up with the ink demands of a flex nib, unlike a plastic feed, while the tail allows for compatibility with cartridges and international converters. The choices are as follows. First select a clip color. If selecting a Gold clip, you can further custom fit your pen with a 2Tone (2T) ultraflex (UF) nib in EEF, EF, Fine, Med or Broad choices. If selecting a Steel clip, you can fit your pen with either a Steel or 2Tone (2T) ultraflex (UF) nib in EEF, EF, Fine, Med or Broad choices.

While the pen works with bottled ink or pre-filled ink cartridges, it comes with an Osprey custom converter by default, and is packaged in a premium pen box. Do not use India Inks. They can clog the ebonite feeds. Fountain Pen inks are recommended. Few examples of inks that worked best with ebonite feeds as reported by our customers: The Noodlers standard Black, MontBlanc Burgundy Red ink, Herbin Perle Noire, Platinum carbon Black, D'Artremis document Black ink, Pilot Iroshizuku line of inks, Rohrer & Klingner SketchINK. Pls send us your feedback on inks that worked best, and inks that didn't, to continue to add to this list. You know and we know that a big part of getting the most out of any pen is to get the pen/ink combination right, especially with the flex nibs. Tiny tip: Make sure to wash the nib and feed right away after use, if you suspect the ink has any pigments that could gummy the feed. Length (capped): 142.0 mm/5.59 inches.
